River with boats, Jieyang, China, ca.1913-1923

"Kityang [Jieyang]." Two boats are moored at the side of a river, and one is being propelled by men with poles down the middle of the river. There are a few small buidlings on either side of the river. One has a few people standing in it, looking at the camera. In the distance is a bridge.

揭阳（Kityang）。两艘船停泊于河畔，另有一艘正由船夫以竹竿撑持，航行于河道中央。河道两岸分布着若干小型建筑，其中一栋建筑内有数人驻足，面向镜头。远处横跨一座桥梁。
