Gulf of Mexico Surface Waters WAF exposure experiment

In a pair of laboratory experiments, we simulated environmental conditions comparable to surface seawater during Deepwater Horizon discharge. This dataset contains time series samples collected after treatment exposure (WAF, CEWAF, dispersant alone). Initial samples were collected aboard the R/V Pelican during cruise PE15-08 and the R/V Atlantis during cruise AT26-13 both at GC600 in the Gulf of Mexico. Both were collected from surface water inside a visible natural oil slick .

本研究通过两组实验室实验，模拟了深水地平线（Deepwater Horizon）漏油事件发生期间表层海水的环境条件。本数据集包含经WAF、CEWAF及单一分散剂三种处理暴露后采集的时间序列样本。初始样本采集自墨西哥湾GC600海域的两次科考航次：分别为搭载“鹈鹕号”研究船（R/V Pelican）的PE15-08航次，以及搭载“亚特兰蒂斯号”研究船（R/V Atlantis）的AT26-13航次，所有样本均取自可见自然浮油覆盖区域内的表层海水。
