POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS FOR THE WILLOW RIDGE SITE, AZ AA:12:968(ASM), MARANA, ARIZONA

Five pollen and ten macrofloral samples were examined from AZ AA:12:968(ASM), the
Willow Ridge site. This site was excavated as part of the Willow Ridge Development Project in
Marana, Pima County, Arizona. Recovery of San Pedro point types suggests occupation during
the San Pedro Phase (1500-800 B.C). Samples were recovered from the fill of storage and
roasting pits, a prehistoric canal, and an irregular ash and charcoal stain and examined to
provide evidence of economic activity at the site.

针对威洛里奇遗址（AZ AA:12:968(ASM)）的5份花粉样本与10份大植物遗存样本开展了分析研究。该遗址作为亚利桑那州皮马县马拉纳市威洛里奇开发项目的一部分进行了考古发掘。出土的圣佩德罗尖状器类遗存表明，该遗址的人类活动年代可追溯至圣佩德罗文化期（公元前1500年—公元前800年）。本次研究的样本采集自储藏坑与焙烧坑的填土、史前水渠，以及一处不规则灰烬与炭迹遗迹，分析旨在为该遗址的古代经济活动提供考古学实证。
