Misgurnus anguillicaudatus is a freshwater fish species of the loach family Cobitidae, using its posterior intestine as an accessory air-breathing organ to breathe on water surface. Here we took advantage of Illumina platform to survey transcriptome(4-Dph group, 8-Dph group, 12-Dph group, 20-Dph group, 40- Dph group and Oyd group) in the posterior intestine development of M.anguillicaudatus with aim to facilitate the exploration of key pathways and genes for the formation of intestinal air-breathing function.

泥鳅（Misgurnus anguillicaudatus）隶属于鳅科（Cobitidae），为淡水鱼类，其以自身后肠作为辅助呼吸器官，可在水体表面进行空气呼吸。本研究借助Illumina测序平台（Illumina platform），针对泥鳅后肠发育过程的转录组（transcriptome）展开测序分析，所涉样本分组包括孵化后第4天组（4-Dph组）、孵化后第8天组（8-Dph组）、孵化后第12天组（12-Dph组）、孵化后第20天组（20-Dph组）、孵化后第40天组（40-Dph组）以及Oyd组，旨在为阐明肠道空气呼吸功能形成相关的关键通路与功能基因提供研究基础。
