Mother and Child Tracking System

India’s Mother and Child Tracking System (MCTS) is an information system for tracking maternal and child health beneficiaries in India’s public health system, and improving service delivery planning and outcomes. This ambitious project was launched in 2009 and currently covers all states in India.
The MCTS is designed to capture and track all pregnant women (from conception up to 42 days post-partum) and all new-born children (up to 5 years of age). Its objectives are to ensure that :
- all pregnant women receive their full Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal Care (PNC) services at the due times;
- institutional deliveries for pregnant women, particularly for high risk mothers, are encouraged;
- and all children receive the full immunisation schedule at the due times.

印度母婴追踪系统（Mother and Child Tracking System，MCTS）是印度公共卫生体系中用于追踪母婴健康受益人群、优化服务提供规划与成效的信息系统。这个宏大的项目于2009年启动，目前已覆盖印度所有邦。
MCTS旨在捕捉并追踪所有孕妇（从受孕至产后42天）及所有新生儿（至5岁）。其目标是确保：
- 所有孕妇在规定时间内获得完整的产前护理（Antenatal Care，ANC）和产后护理（Postnatal Care，PNC）服务；
- 鼓励孕妇（尤其是高危产妇）在医疗机构分娩；
- 所有儿童在规定时间内完成完整的免疫接种计划。
