We have characterized genome-wide expression and regulatory networks of 609 renal tumors and 256 non-tumor renal tissues using the Illumina HumanHT-12 v4 Expression BeadChips. Data show remarkable sexual dimorphism at transcriptional level including sex-specific signatures associated with RCC progression and survival. Overall design: Total RNA obtained from frozen RCC tumour and/or adjacent non-tumour renal tissue. Note that 202 samples (from 101 patients) analyzed were already submitted (see PMID: 23526956 and GSE40435).

本研究采用Illumina HumanHT-12 v4表达微珠芯片(Illumina HumanHT-12 v4 Expression BeadChips),对609例肾肿瘤组织与256例非肿瘤肾组织的全基因组表达及调控网络进行了解析与表征。分析数据显示,转录组水平存在显著的性别二态性,其中包含与肾细胞癌(RCC)进展及生存预后相关的性别特异性分子特征。实验整体设计:总RNA提取自冷冻保存的肾细胞癌组织及/或其邻近的非肿瘤肾组织。需注意的是,本次分析的202份样本(来自101名患者)已在既往研究中提交公开,详见PMID: 23526956与GSE40435。
