These high speed videos of a 4-stage mixed-flow centrifugal pump show the different flow patterns observed in gas-liquid flows, depending on the inlet gas fraction and total flow rate. The pump rotates at 20 Hz and the acronym BEP stands for the design (or Best Efficiency Point) flow rate.
