The data are the typical failure CT-images of the 3D woven composites specimen under the out-plane tension load. The images were obtained by SRCT, which is an advanced technology for damage detection due to its higher energy and better phase-contrast. Based on the images, the out-plane failure mechanism of 3D woven composites can be investigated. Moreover, it is also helpful to the numerical modeling of the 3D woven composites under the out-plane tension load.

本数据集收录了三维编织复合材料试样在面外拉伸载荷作用下的典型失效计算机断层扫描（CT）图像。该类图像通过同步辐射计算机断层扫描（Synchrotron Radiation Computed Tomography，SRCT）获取，该技术凭借更高的能量与更优异的相位衬度特性，成为先进的损伤检测手段。依托这批图像，可开展三维编织复合材料面外失效机理的相关研究；同时，该数据集也可为面外拉伸载荷作用下三维编织复合材料的数值建模提供有益支撑。
