This submission includes the partial (V3-V4 regions) 16S rRNA gene libraries of Micromalthus debilis and Epiphragma sp. These sequences were amplified using PCR and subsequently sequenced on the Illumina platform. Our submission includes two biological replicates each for Micromalthus debilis and Epiphragma sp.DNA was extracted using the Quick-DNA Fecal/Soil Microbe Microprep Kit (Zymo research). The V3-V4 regions of the 16S rRNA gene were amplified using PCR primers (S-D-Bact-0341-b-S-17; 5'-CCTACGGGNGGCWGCAG-3' and S-D-Bact-0785-a-A-21; 5'-GACTACHVGGGTATCTAATCC-3; Klindworth et al., 2012).
