This data set was collected in 2024, in which eight gardens and seven allotment sites were sampled once a month from June to September. Sampling sites at allotments were further split into individual plots, where permission from plot owners had been gained to conduct sampling. Monthly surveys of flower visitors to all plants within sites were conducted for 30 minutes, producing a plant-flower visitor data set. Alongside this, environmental variables at the site were collected including floral abundance, floral richness, plant origin, site size, land use diversity and surrounding green space around a site. Furthermore, pan traps collected data on insect families at each site in each month (May to September).

本数据集采集于2024年,共对8个花园及7个租种菜园地块开展采样,采样时间为6月至9月,每月1次。租种菜园地块的采样点进一步划分为单个样地,且已获得样地所有者的采样许可。每月对样地内所有植物的访花类群开展30分钟的定点调查,由此构建植物-访花昆虫数据集。同步采集样地的环境变量数据,包括花卉丰度、花卉物种丰富度、植物起源、样地面积、土地利用多样性以及样地周边绿地空间。此外,每月(5月至9月)利用pan诱捕器(pan traps)采集各采样点的昆虫科类数据。
