Multibeam bathymetry raw data (Kongsberg EM710 entire dataset) of RV METEOR during cruise M206

Raw multibeam bathymetry data were collected aboard RV METEOR during cruise M206 using a 70 - 100 kHz Kongsberg EM 710 multibeam echosounder. The expedition took place during 2024-12-01 – 2024-12-30 from Fortaleza (Brazil) to Belem (Portugal) in the Central Atlantic. The major aims of M206 Amazon-GEOTRACES 2 and the related projects is to better constrain the dissolved organic matter (DOM) and trace element (and their isotopes) budgets and net fluxes from the Amazon River system and the large mangrove belt into the Atlantic Ocean. Data were recorded within the EEZs of Brazil and French Guiana as well as outside EEZs. Sound velocity profiles (SVP) were applied on the data for calibration. Please see environmental data and the cruise report for details. The data are unprocessed and can therefore contain incorrect depth measurements (artifacts) if not further processed. Note that refraction errors may occur when no proper SVP is applied. Data acquisition was done by Constructor University, provision of the data is supported by the DAM Project Underway Research Data and published according to the FAIR principles.

原始多波束测深数据（multibeam bathymetry data）由研究科考船流星号（RV METEOR）在M206航次中采集，所用设备为70-100 kHz的康士伯EM 710多波束回声测深仪（Kongsberg EM 710 multibeam echosounder）。本次科考航次于2024年12月1日至2024年12月30日在大西洋中部开展，航线由巴西福塔莱萨（Fortaleza）至葡萄牙贝伦（Belem）。M206亚马逊-GEOTRACES 2计划及相关项目的核心目标，是更精准地限定亚马逊河系统与大型红树林带向大西洋输入的溶解有机质（dissolved organic matter, DOM）、痕量元素（及其同位素）的收支与净通量。数据采集范围覆盖巴西及法属圭亚那的专属经济区（Exclusive Economic Zone, EEZ）及其外海域。已采用声速剖面（Sound Velocity Profiles, SVP）对数据开展校准工作。详细信息请参阅环境数据集及本航次科考报告。本数据集为未处理原始数据，若未进行后续处理，可能存在错误的深度测量值（伪影）。请注意，若未使用合适的声速剖面数据，可能会出现折射误差。数据采集工作由康斯特鲁克特大学（Constructor University）完成，数据集的提供得到了DAM underway研究数据项目的支持，并依据FAIR原则（FAIR principles）进行发布。
