We developed a method for ground application of SPLAT® GM pheromone formulation against gypsy moth. The study was conducted in 2011 - 2014 in Goshen Wildlife Management Area, VA[UTM 637052 E, 4223294 N to 614250 E, 4192715 N, NAD 27, zone 17], and in 2016 in Blacksburg, VA [UTM 553841 E, 4121358 N, zone 17]. We observed that the dosages of 49.4 and 123.6 g AI/ha applied to 11x11 regular grids reduced trap catches by >90% compared to untreated control.
