Total intestinal bacterial DNA was extracted using a PowerSoil DNA Isolation Kit (MoBio Laboratories, Carlsbad, CA) according to the manufacturer's instructions. DNA quality and concentration are tested using a microspectrophotometer (Nano800, Jiapeng, China).
