Effects of Parental Beliefs and Practices on Young Children's Pre-literacy: The Case of China

This study investigates the impact of parental beliefs and practices on pre-literacy among young children in China. A self-report survey of 1,060 kindergarten parents from mainland China was conducted, controlling for demographic and socioeconomic factors.
