Raw Data_ The Relationship between Weight Stigma and Physical Activity Avoidance among College Students

The dataset, "Raw Data_ The Relationship between Weight Stigma and Physical Activity Avoidance among College Students," was collected from students at several universities in China using the online survey platform Questionnaire Star (www.wjx.cn). A total of 576 valid questionnaires were obtained after excluding invalid responses. The study focused on key psychological factors related to physical activity avoidance, including weight stigma, body image dissatisfaction, and psychological resilience. Based on a chain mediation model, this dataset was used to examine how weight stigma is related to physical activity avoidance, with body image dissatisfaction and psychological resilience as sequential mediators, providing empirical evidence for understanding college students’ exercise behavior and informing interventions to promote physical and psychological well-being.《原始数据集：大学生体重污名（weight stigma）与身体活动回避（Physical Activity Avoidance）的关系》本数据集通过在线调查平台问卷星（Questionnaire Star，www.wjx.cn）面向国内多所高校的大学生采集调研数据。经剔除无效作答后，共回收有效问卷576份。本研究聚焦与身体活动回避相关的核心心理因素，涵盖体重污名、身体意象不满（body image dissatisfaction）及心理弹性（psychological resilience）。本数据集基于链式中介模型（chain mediation model），用于探究体重污名与身体活动回避之间的关联，其中身体意象不满与心理弹性依次充当中介变量，为理解大学生锻炼行为提供实证依据，并为促进其身心健康的干预举措提供参考。
