Decisions and Biographies of Judges of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyz Republic

These data report the decisions of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyz Republic since its inception in 2013. The Constitutional Chamber was introduced as a judicial review body with the new Constitution after the 2010 Kyrgyz Revolution toppled the regime of Kurmanbek Bakiyev. This dataset includes all 117 up-to-date decisions, broken down, among others, by the type of right allegedly infringed and the outcome of the vote, as well as the biographical data on the judges on the bench, such as their previous professional and educational affiliations. The dataset includes the author's summaries on the rulings. The materials in this dataset are for informational purposes only and not for the purpose of providing legal advice.
