Although alanyl-transfer RNA synthetase (AARS)1/2 are known to act as cellular lactate sensors, their role in high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) remains unclear.Therefore, this study explored the role of AARS1 in HGSOC-associated protein lactylation and examined its effects on the growth and progression of HGSOC. We used high-throughput sequencing to identify ATF5 as the major downstream target gene regulated by AARS1 in ovarian cancer.
