This is the FAO Yearbook of Forest Products 1965, which compiles basic forest product statistical data from countries and regions across the world, with annual updates. It includes annual data on forest product production volumes, import and export trade volumes and trade values, as well as annual trade flows and average unit values for selected forest products. The statistical data in the yearbook is primarily collected by FAO from annual forest product questionnaires submitted by countries and official publications. In the absence of official data, FAO makes the most appropriate estimates based on existing resources as much as possible. The goal is to collect production and trade data through the Joint Forest Products Questionnaire, respond to the requirements of partner organization member countries to rationalize the collection and dissemination channels of forest sector data, and enhance the consistency among forestry statistical publications released by various institutions.
