The National Centre for Environmental and Nature conservation information at the German Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt – UBA) concentrates openly accessible data and information about the environment and nature conservation in its portal https://umwelt.info. We cooperate with data providers, identify relevant sources, reference their metadata and create target group specific editorials and tools. We want to counteract against the fragmented environmental data and information landscape in Germany. Our goal is to create one central, digital access point to all openly accessible data and information about the environment and nature conservation in Germany.
