Borole-Derived Spirocyclic Tetraorganoborate

Preparation of a novel conjugated tetraorganoborate is
presented
in a facile two-step procedure. Successful utilization as a halide
abstraction reagent is demonstrated in a metathesis reaction with
the platinum­(II) boryl complex [(Cy3P)2Pt­(Br)­(BC4Ph4)], which was obtained by oxidative addition
of 1-bromo-2,3,4,5-tetraphenylborole to a platinum(0) species. The
novel compounds were investigated by means of spectroscopic and X-ray
diffraction techniques.

本研究报道了一种通过简便两步法制备新型共轭四有机硼酸盐的方法。将该产物作为卤原子提取试剂（halide abstraction reagent），与铂(II)硼基配合物[(Cy3P)2Pt(Br)(BC4Ph4)]进行复分解反应（metathesis reaction），其应用有效性得到验证；该铂(II)硼基配合物可通过1-溴-2,3,4,5-四苯基硼杂环戊二烯（1-bromo-2,3,4,5-tetraphenylborole）对铂(0)物种进行氧化加成（oxidative addition）制得。最后，通过光谱学与X射线衍射（X-ray diffraction）技术对所得新型化合物进行了表征。
