We designed a series of inquiry activities with the support of scaffolding, and we investigated their impact on the development of selected inquiry skills among pupils. We carried out the research on 416 pupils of different primary schools who participated in a quasi-experiment. Pupils in the experimental group conducted biology inquiry activities with the support of scaffolding aimed at developing selected inquiry skills. The research also included self-assessment cards, in which pupils had to assess their level of acquired inquiry skills. Pupils in the control group were taught these topics in traditional way including practical activities based on the "cookbook" approach.
本研究设计了一系列依托支架式教学(scaffolding)支持的探究活动,并考察了其对小学生特定探究技能发展的影响。本研究针对416名来自不同小学的小学生开展,所有参与者均参与了一项准实验(quasi-experiment)。其中,实验组小学生开展以培养特定探究技能为目标的支架式生物学探究活动;本研究同时设置了自我评估卡片,要求小学生对自身已掌握的探究技能水平进行自评。对照组小学生则采用传统教学方式学习相关主题,其教学活动包含基于菜谱式教学法("cookbook" approach)的实操环节。
