Participated in a group project focused on understanding the soil-structure interaction between an offshore wind turbine's jacket foundation and it's surrounding soil, which was sand, due to cyclic loading. We determined the types of soils in the tested sites and obtained the axial capacities of the piles. These results will lead to further experimental site tests. The development and findings of the experiment showing this behavior are recorded in the paper, poster and presentation.
