Temperature and other data were collected using thermometer and bottle casts in the Chukchi and Bering Sea from 1947-02-11 to 1949-07-26 (NODC Accession 9700081)

Temperature, depth, oxygen, and salinity data were collected using thermometer and bottle casts from the USS CACOPAN, USS NEREUS, and HMCS CEDARWOOD in the Chukchi and Bering Sea. Data were collected from February 11, 1947 to July 26, 1949 by US Navy; Electronics Laboratory with support from the Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue (GODAR) project.

本数据集包含温度、深度、溶解氧及盐度数据，采集作业依托美国海军CACOPAN号、NEREUS号舰艇与加拿大皇家海军CEDARWOOD号舰艇，在楚科奇海及白令海海域开展，采用温度计与采水器下放采样法。数据采集时间为1947年2月11日至1949年7月26日，由美国海军电子实验室执行，并得到全球海洋数据考古与救援（Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue, GODAR）项目的支持。
