This series consists of a scrapbook containing minutes, agendas, reports, draft documents, correspondence, and handwritten notes created by the Higher Degrees Standing Committee at the Preston Institute of Technology (VA 1212) and later Phillip Institute of Technology (VA 1052).The Committee was required to develop policy relating to the study of higher degrees, co-ordinate the development of higher degrees, and make recommendations on canditure for the Victorian Institute of Colleges
