Methane enrichments of freshwater lake sediment (16S) across a range of oxygen tensions Targeted Locus (Loci). freshwater sediment metagenome

We carried out microcosm incubations with sediment samples from Lake Washington at five different oxygen tensions, while methane was supplied at the same concentration in each. Community composition was determined through 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing after 10 and 16 weeks of incubation.

本研究以华盛顿湖（Lake Washington）沉积物样本为实验材料，设置五种不同氧分压条件开展微宇宙培养实验，各组甲烷供给浓度均保持一致。分别于培养10周和16周后，采用16S rRNA基因扩增子测序（16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing）技术测定样品的微生物群落组成。
