Included are the Matlab files for running the simulation described in Section 4.3 of Davis-Stober, C. P., Brown, N., Park, S., &amp; Regenwetter, M. Recasting a biologically motivated computational model within a Fechnerian and random utility framework.<br>To run the simulation, put the file "FSISim.m" in your current Matlab directory and type "FSISim" in the command line and press enter.<br>The Mathematica file "ConditionalDistDavisStoberetal.nb" was used to numerically calculate the expected values and variances of the I_{A} and I_{B} random variables as a function of the w parameter. These terms are then used in the Matlab simulation files. You can find them in the "PNASnormalapprox" function which is in the file "FSISim.m".<br><br><br><br>
