Distribution of regional newspaper readers in the Netherlands 2022, by age group

As of the 4th quarter of 2022, 48 percent of regional newspaper readers in the Netherlands were over the age of 65 years, making them by far the most prominent age group among regional newspaper consumers. At the same time, 13 to 19--year-olds accounted for justover four percent of regional newspaper readers in the country.
