VPRS 6450 Treasury and Crown Law Circulars

This series consists of an unused Crime Report Book, in which circulars received by the Clerk of Courts were pasted. From the front of the volume, the circulars came form the Department of the Treasury. These were directed to all Clerks of Courts and deal with issues such as charges for the filing of various court documents or Mining applications. This sequence dates from 1892 to 1907. From the rear of the volume, is a separate sequence of circulars, directed to Clerks of the Courts Judges and Justices sent from the Crown Law Department. These document information about court processes and the use of forms. This sequence dates from 1890 to 1907.
