Ecosystem services mapping is witnessing a surge in usage, with a significant increase observed in recent times. However, the lack of characterization of conservation knowledge shortfalls can result in essential gaps in decision-making and public policy. The goal of the scientific paper, published in Biological Conservation Journal (doi.org/10.1016/j.biocon.2023.110086) was to delineate the thematic changes that have emerged in ecosystem services mapping and their significance in biodiversity conservation. To achieve this, we conducted a literature search on this topic and identified 1670 relevant documents published between 2005 and 2021. This database presents and makes available the raw data of this publication.

生态系统服务制图(Ecosystem services mapping)的应用正迎来爆发式增长,近年来其使用规模显著提升。然而,由于尚未对保护知识缺口开展系统性表征研究,决策制定与公共政策制定过程中往往存在关键认知空白。发表于《生物保护杂志》(Biological Conservation Journal,doi.org/10.1016/j.biocon.2023.110086)的这篇学术论文,旨在厘清生态系统服务制图领域出现的主题演变及其在生物多样性保护中的重要意义。为达成这一研究目标,我们针对该主题开展了文献检索,共筛选得到2005年至2021年间发表的1670篇相关文献。本数据集即收录并公开了该研究的原始数据。
