MicroRNA sequencing in paired tumor and lymph nodes samples from breast cancer patients

In this work we have profiled by RNA-sequencing the expression of smallRNAs in 60 paired tumor samples and sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) from early-stage breast cancer patients using the NextSeq500 Illumina platform. We aimed to correlated the expression of smallRNAs with the sentinel lymph node (SLN) status and the outcome of axillary lymph node dissection (ALND).

本研究通过RNA测序（RNA-sequencing）技术，采用Illumina NextSeq500测序平台，对60例早期乳腺癌患者的配对肿瘤样本与前哨淋巴结（sentinel lymph nodes, SLNs）中的小RNA（smallRNAs）表达谱进行了分析，旨在探讨小RNA表达与前哨淋巴结（SLN）状态以及腋窝淋巴结清扫术（axillary lymph node dissection, ALND）预后结局之间的关联。
