ANNEX 1 (NBS4AQUAMISSION D1.1): Suspect Screening Results for Pharmaceutical Products and Organic Micropollutants

This dataset comprises the suspect screening results for pharmaceutical products (PPs) and other organic micropollutants (OMPs) collected from the NBS4AQUAMISSION project's demonstration sites. The data were generated by Aarhus University (AU) under Work Package 1 (WP1) and form the basis for Deliverable D1.1, "Report on screening results." The file contains the raw and processed LC-HRMS (Liquid Chromatography-High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry) data used to characterize the baseline chemical profiles of wastewater and urban stream influents at three pilot-scale Nature-based Solutions (NbS) sites in Denmark (DK), Norway (NO), and Spain (SP). A comprehensive suspect list of over 500 compounds was screened, identifying a range of pharmaceuticals, antibiotics, transformation products, pesticides, and lifestyle markers. The dataset includes: Site Information: Sample locations (DK, NO, SP), sample types (inlet/outlet), and collection dates. Analytical Results: Detected compounds, classification, library match scores (%), and signal-to-noise ratios. Prioritized Compounds: A subset of high-frequency, cross-site compounds is flagged for future targeted monitoring, supporting the project's objective to update analytical methods for evaluating NbS performance. This dataset is the first output from the NBS4AQUAMISSION monitoring program and serves as a critical reference for assessing the removal efficiency of Nature-based Solutions and the associated ecotoxicological risk reduction.
