This standard specifies the core metadata required for comprehensive scientific expeditions in North China and its adjacent regions, as well as the semantic definitions and cataloging rules for each metadata element. This standard applies to the staff engaged in the North China scientific expeditions for data collection, cataloging, as well as the summary, organization, integration and sharing services of project data.
