Forsythia suspensa glycoside is a phenylethanoid glycoside extracted from the bark, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds of the Oleaceae plant Forsythia suspensa. As a major active ingredient in the Chinese herbal medicine Forsythia suspensa, it has a wide range of pharmacological activities. It not only inhibits various Gram positive and negative bacteria that cause infections, but also has strong antiviral effects. However, the role of Forsythia suspensa glycosides in innate immunity is not yet clear. Overall design: Expose C. elegans to 10 µM Forsythia and place the nematodes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa to test their innate immune ability.
连翘苷(Forsythia suspensa glycoside)是一种苯乙醇苷类化合物,提取自木犀科(Oleaceae)植物连翘(Forsythia suspensa)的树皮、叶片、花朵、果实与种子。作为中药连翘的核心活性成分,其具备广泛的药理活性:不仅可抑制多种引发感染的革兰氏阳性与阴性细菌,还具有强效抗病毒作用。然而,连翘苷在天然免疫中的作用机制尚未明确。本实验整体设计如下:将秀丽隐杆线虫(C. elegans)暴露于10 μM浓度的连翘苷环境中,随后将线虫置于铜绿假单胞菌(Pseudomonas aeruginosa)环境下,以检测其天然免疫能力。
