Perpetual Pace Woman in Lausanne, Switzerland

This sculpture by Chinese artist She Duofo is one of a set of two runners as a group titled 'Never Stopping' (the other, Perpetual Pace Man, also uploaded on MyMiniFactory) cast in bronze and made as a gift to commemorate the Xiamen marathon. Jacques Rogge, the president of the IOC, expressed his acknowledgement for the gift in a letter to the Xiamen mayor Zhang Changping. It is with pleasure that the International Olympic Committee accepts the honour to receive two of the statues group entitled Never Stopping. Your kind donation is very much appreciated, The statues, made of bronze and about 2 meters in height, are to be delivered to Lausanne on March 25, the same day the fourth international Xiamen marathon outsets.
