Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and is associated with a variety of metabolic disorders. Emerging evidence suggests that the gut microbiota plays a significant role in regulating blood pressure and influencing the pathophysiology of hypertension. This research aims to investigate the complex relationship between gut microbiota composition and hypertension, exploring how microbial populations might affect blood pressure regulation and contribute to the development of hypertension. By understanding these interactions, the study hopes to provide insights into potential microbiota-based therapeutic strategies for managing or preventing hypertension. The findings could pave the way for novel approaches to treating high blood pressure through dietary interventions, probiotics, or other microbiome-targeted therapies.
