Figure S1. Density calibration for the studied cores; CT units (HU) to MKS bulk sediment-density (kg/m3). Twenty measurements of averaged HU values were performed in 1 cm by 6 cm vertical rectangles on a longitudinal CT slice in the middle of core AM113 (average HU of an individual rectangular ranged ~600 - ~1500). They were then plotted against the gamma density values obtained for the same core depths using a Multi Scan Core Logger (Haifa University, Israel).

图S1 研究岩芯的密度校准:CT单位(HU,Hounsfield Unit)转换为米-千克-秒制沉积物体密度(kg/m³)。在AM113号岩芯中部的纵向CT切片上,于1 cm×6 cm的垂直矩形区域内开展了20次平均HU值测量,单个矩形区域的平均HU值范围约为600~1500。将上述平均HU测量值与采用以色列海法大学Multi Scan Core Logger(多扫描岩芯测井仪)在对应岩芯深度获取的伽马密度值进行绘图校准。
图S2 研究岩芯实拍照片。(a) AM113号岩芯;(b) AM149号岩芯;(c) AM015号岩芯;(d) AM137号岩芯。深度标尺单位为厘米。各岩芯上均标注了主要地层单元以及末次冰期向全新世的过渡界面。同时还标注了选取岩芯深度处沉积物的门塞尔(Munsell)颜色。
