PLANTS

This dataset includes heavy metal data found in the roots and leaves of 2 wetland plant species, Carex acutiformis and Carex pendula, taken from 4 different locations of the wetland system installed in Gallions Lake, Thamesmead, UK. Sample locations 1 and 4 were taken from the surrounding revetments of the wetland which were built using silt dredged from the lake, whereas locations 2 and 3 were samples taken from the two floating treatment islands in the middle of cells 2 and 3 of the wetland. These samples were collected at the same time as the 2025 water samples, on 6 monthly occasions from March-August. Each sample of roots and leaves from each species was divided into 3 repeats which were analysed at Queen Mary University geography laboratory for heavy metals. This dataset also includes the translocation factor and the bioconcentration factor of different samples.本数据集涵盖英国泰晤士米德（Thamesmead）加里昂斯湖（Gallions Lake）内搭建的湿地系统的4个不同采样点位中，两种湿地植物——急尖苔草（Carex acutiformis）与垂穗苔草（Carex pendula）的根、叶组织内的重金属含量数据。其中采样点位1与4取自该湿地的周边护岸，该护岸采用从该湖疏浚所得的淤泥构筑；采样点位2与3则取自该湿地2号、3号单元中部的两座浮动处理岛。所有样本与2025年水样同期采集，共开展6次月度采样，采样时段覆盖3月至8月。针对每种植物的根、叶样本均设置3次生物学重复，于伦敦大学玛丽皇后学院（Queen Mary University）地理实验室完成重金属含量分析。本数据集同时收录了各样本的转运因子(translocation factor)与生物富集因子(bioconcentration factor)。
