Pretty Privilege vs. Group Prejudice methodology and survey questions and raw data

This project investigates whether ingroup bias or attractiveness bias has a stronger influence on decision-making. Using the Minimal Group Paradigm, participants were assigned to artificial groups to measure how group membership affects their choices, while also testing whether the attractiveness of individuals influences these decisions. By comparing these two biases directly, the study aims to understand how group belonging and physical appearance interact to shape the decisions people make, providing insights into how cognitive and social factors influence everyday judgments and behaviours.

本研究旨在探究内群体偏差（ingroup bias）与吸引力偏差（attraction bias）何者对决策的影响更为显著。研究采用最小群体范式（Minimal Group Paradigm），将被试分配至人工群组，以测量群体成员身份对其决策选择的影响，同时检验个体外貌吸引力是否会对这类决策产生影响。通过直接对比两种偏差的作用效应，本研究旨在厘清群体成员身份与外在容貌如何共同塑造个体决策行为，为理解认知与社会因素如何影响日常判断与行为提供理论洞见。
