MgBe2Os crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgBe2Os ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Both Mg–Be bond lengths are 2.49 Å. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Os atom. The Be–Os bond length is 2.08 Å. Os is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
MgBe₂Os晶体属于正交晶系（orthorhombic）Immm空间群（space group）。该结构为一维结构，由两条沿(1, 0, 0)方向排列的MgBe₂Os带状单元构成。Mg以直线几何构型与两个等价的Be原子成键，Mg-Be键长均为2.49 Å；Be以直线几何构型与一个Mg原子和一个Os原子成键，Be-Os键长为2.08 Å；Os以直线几何构型与两个等价的Be原子成键。
