The chloroplast genome of Gardenia stenophylla Merr was described. The total length of the sequence was 155,109 bp. The overall A + T content was 62.5%. The LSC and SSC regions were separated by two reverse repeat regions with IRs of 85,396 bp, 18,109 bp and 25,802, respectively.

本研究完成了细叶栀子（Gardenia stenophylla Merr.）叶绿体基因组的表征。该序列全长为155109 bp，整体AT碱基含量达62.5%。大单拷贝区（Large Single Copy, LSC）与小单拷贝区（Small Single Copy, SSC）由两段反向重复序列（Inverted Repeat, IR）分隔，两段反向重复序列的长度分别为85396 bp、18109 bp与25802 bp。
