The blade, sides, butt and faces are ground and the blade, sides and faces are polished. The edge is sharp but chipped. The blade area is defined by a higher polish. The faces are well ground. A few areas of remnant pecking are both faces. the findspot is [Knockderk](https://www.logainm.ie/en/1413806) Limerick. Gabbro comes primarily from [Co.
