资源简介:

The Solomon Islands Climate Risk & Vulnerability Assessment (CRVA) offers a national snapshot of how climate change is affecting communities, the natural environment and the built environment across key sectors and how those impacts may change over time. Developed with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster and Meteorology (MECDM) and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and funded by the Australian Aid Programme (DFAT) as part of the wider Strengthening Inclusive Adaptation Capacity in Solomon Islands (SIAC-SI) Project, the CRVA supports the creation of the first National Adaptation Plan (NAP) by bringing together both scientific knowledge and community‑level insights. The assessment explores risks across 12 sectors, including agriculture, water supply, health, infrastructure, and tourism (among others). The CRVA has identified that flooding is already a widespread challenge across all sectors, causing impacts on food security, clean water, education, and public health.
