Supporting data for “Exploring the Potential of Vlog-Assisted Informal Language Learning: A Study on Language Learners’ Motivation, Use, and Impacts”

This dataset contains cross-sectional survey responses from 503 participants and interview data. The study investigates learners’ engagement in vlog-assisted informal language learning (VAILL), including use (content consumption, interactive participation, language application), vlog-related motivation (authenticity, expertise, interactivity, culture immersion), motivational beliefs (attainment value, utility value, intrinsic value, expectancy), social influence (subjective norms), willingness to share, and self-related constructs (emotional/informational support and contingent self-worth dimensions).本数据集收录了503名受访者的横断面调查结果与访谈数据。本研究聚焦于学习者参与视频博客辅助的非正式语言学习（vlog-assisted informal language learning, VAILL）的行为，调查内容涵盖：使用行为（含内容消费、互动参与、语言应用）、视频博客相关学习动机（含真实性、专业性、互动性、文化沉浸）、动机信念（含成就价值、功用价值、内在价值、期望）、社会影响（含主观规范）、分享意愿，以及自我相关构念（情绪/信息支持维度与依存性自我价值维度）。
