Replication Data for: Active Methodologies in Computer Networks Education: A Systematic Mapping between Instructional Design and Practical Frictions
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the replication package and open-science supplementary materials for the systematic mapping study (SLM; N = 35 primary studies; 2020-2025) titled: "Active Methodologies in Computer Networks Education: A Systematic Mapping between Instructional Design and Practical Frictions" The dataset is organized as four independent, uncompressed files in the root directory to ensure seamless online preview, search indexing, and ease of audit for peer reviewers without the hassle of downloading heavy archive files. 📂 Repository File Structure README.md: The comprehensive technical navigation guide, tab indexes, and logical mapping to the manuscript's narrative. prisma_selection_funnel.xlsx: The complete audit trail of the study selection funnel, containing 4 structured tabs (Criteria, PRISMA_EXECUTION_LOG with the raw Parsifal export, CORPUS with the 35 selected studies, and 5.1 Studies with bibliometric metadata). taxonomic_codebook.xlsx: The complete taxonomic data dictionary organized by Research Question, detailing the operational definitions, parameters, and classification rules for all variables. extraction_analysis_matrix.xlsx: The central analytical workbook containing the raw qualitative evidence, page-by-page quotes, translations, and functional dynamic pivot tables. 📊 Structured Sheet and Tab Index (extraction_analysis_matrix.xlsx) To prevent sparse-matrix distortion and ensure clean pivot table generation, the raw qualitative evidence and its corresponding quantitative analysis are paired as dedicated sheets for each Research Question. The tabs are arranged to mirror the logical narrative of the paper (Context → Frictions → Evaluations → Synthesis) to facilitate a smooth audit for reviewers: Instructional Context (RQs 1, 8, 4, 9, and 10): Establishes the baseline technological, domain-specific, and demographic design of the practices. RQ1 & RQ1Analysis: Simulation, emulation, and virtualization environments. RQ8 & RQ8Analysis: Technical inventory and license analysis of tools. RQ4 & RQ4Analysis: Operational context, student/teacher roles, interaction modes, and duration. RQ9 & RQ9Analysis: Network disciplines, concepts, and protocols. RQ10 & RQ10Analysis: Demographic distribution of student educational levels and maturity. Frictions and Barriers (RQs 5 and 3): Exposes pre-operational limits and structural constraints (RQ5) and runtime technical/cognitive collapses (RQ3). RQ5 & RQ5Analysis: Pre-operational logistical and infrastructure constraints. RQ3 & RQ3Analysis: Runtime operational, cognitive, behavioral, and management difficulties. Evaluation and Feedback (RQs 6, 2, and 7): Contrasts objective performance metrics and benefits (RQ6 and RQ2) with subjective student satisfaction (RQ7). RQ6 & RQ6Analysis: Evaluation methods and instruments. RQ2 & RQ2Analysis: Reported pedagogical benefits and cognitive gain. RQ7 & RQ7Analysis: Acceptance and satisfaction rates. Causal Matrices (Section 6 Discussions): Houses the multi-variable Boolean intersections discussed in the paper's Discussion section. Sec6.1_Causal_Genesis: Boolean causal matrix modeling the collapse of Instrumental Genesis. Sec6.2_Causal_TPACK: Boolean causal matrix modeling Educational Technical Debt and TPACK rupture. Sec6.3_Causal_Illusion: Boolean causal matrix modeling the Metric Illusion of satisfaction. Synthesis and Future Agenda (Section 8 Conclusion): Houses the analytical synthesis of the long-term evaluation gap and transition parameters from Safety-I to Safety-II. Sec8_Conclusion: Summary of the evaluation gap and closed-loop research parameters. Each RQ tab contains the shared primary metadata columns (PS_ID, Page, Source text, and Translation) followed by the specific taxonomic variables assigned to that Research Question, ensuring both structural normalization and complete trace integrity.
