Wildlife Farming Rapid Literature Search Included Studies

This dataset documents the geographic location, taxonomic focus, DOI, and research focus of the 103 studies that met our inclusion criteria during our rapid literature search of wildlife farming. We utilised the online Web of Science database, searching for studies with the keywords [“captive breeding” or “wildlife farming” or “commercial breeding” or “breeding farms”]. We included studies that documented aspects of the supply, trade, or consumption of captive-bred products or studies that assessed the biological and economic feasibility, hygiene and morality of wildlife farming. Studies were excluded where wildlife farming was only mentioned as a future direction in the field of wildlife trade or documented non-terrestrial and plant species.

本数据集记录了我们在针对野生动物养殖开展的快速文献检索中，符合纳入标准的103项研究的地理位置、分类学研究范畴、数字对象标识符（DOI）以及研究主题。本次检索依托在线Web of Science数据库，检索关键词设置为「圈养繁育」「野生动物养殖」「商业化繁育」及「繁育养殖场」。纳入标准涵盖：记录了圈养繁育产物的供应、贸易或消费相关内容的研究，或针对野生动物养殖的生物学与经济学可行性、卫生状况及伦理合理性开展评估的研究。仅将野生动物养殖作为野生动物贸易领域未来发展方向提及的研究，以及涉及非陆生生物或植物物种的研究，均予以排除。
