AADT Traffic Count

Data is current as of June 2026 and updated annually. The Traffic Analysis Section collects and compiles traffic data for the WVDOT. Short duration data collection takes place at over 2,500 locations annually. The Traffic Count data is imported into GIS from tables containing latitude and longitude coordinates collected in the field. Locational accuracy is verified by the Traffic Analysis Section.
