Pyrethroid susceptibility of malaria vectors in four Districts of western Kenya

Three day old adult mosquitoes from larval samples collected in the field, were used for bioassays using the WHO tube bioassay, and mortality recorded 24 hours post exposure. Resistance level was assigned based on the 2013 WHO guidelines where populations with <90% mortality were considered resistant. Once exposed, samples were identified to species using PCR. 本研究以野外采集幼虫样本繁育得到的三日龄成蚊为受试材料，采用世卫组织管形生物测定法（WHO tube bioassay）开展生物测定，并于暴露后24小时记录死亡率。抗药性水平参照2013年世卫组织指南划定：死亡率低于90%的种群被判定为具有抗药性。暴露处理完成后，通过聚合酶链式反应（PCR）对样本进行物种鉴定。(MapVEu VBP0000200)
