Spatial dynamic wind power forecasting dataset (SDWPF dataset) gathered from the Baidu KDD CUP 2022 challenge was released by Longyuan Power Group, a collection of wind turbine data from their wind farm, gathered by SCADA systems that tracked and monitored the turbines. The information was updated every 10 minutes and included readings from all 134 turbines on the farm. This dataset provided a comprehensive record of the wind farm's past operations by collecting various sensor readings from each turbine. SDWPF dataset contains a total of 47,27,520 records. Each data point included a unique Wind turbine ID, day, and time of the record. Weather data was captured through wind speed and ambient temperature, while internal conditions were monitored by nacelle temperature. The dataset also detailed the direction of the turbine's nacelle, along with the pitch angles of each of the three blades. Finally, it recorded the reactive and active power generated by the turbine.
