Phospholipids assemble the backbone of biological membranes and their simplified biomimetic models, in particular sparsely tethered bilayer membranes (stBLM) were established to mimic and study these fundamental architectures. We have developped new model of stBLM that avoid cumbersome chemistry being based on the grafting of commercial surfactants (Brij, CiEj...) able to tether the membrane and of PEO to maintain its fluidity to any conductor or semi-conductor. This proposal aim to shade some light on the role played by the hybrid cushion by resolving the structure of the lipid bilayer tethered via different functionalisaations that will explore two different concentrations of the tether molecules (surfactant) and different hybrid coatings (Brij / PEOn).
