Whole-genome Sequencing of Caulobacter crescentus irradiated with UV-C light

In this project we used whole-genome sequencing to understand the mutational consequences of UV-C light in Caulobacter crescentus (Caulobacter vibrioides). Bacterial cultures were irradiated with UV-C light and surviving colonies were collected for DNA extraction and sequencing. Non-irradiated controls were also analyzed.

本研究采用全基因组测序（whole-genome sequencing）技术，解析UV-C紫外线对新月柄杆菌（Caulobacter crescentus，异名Caulobacter vibrioides）的突变效应。将细菌培养物经UV-C照射后，收集存活菌落用于DNA提取与测序；未照射的对照组也同步进行了分析。
